Addicks & Kreye Container Logistik GmbH & Co. KG has been active in northern German port logistics for decades and is part of the Addicks & Kreye Group. Headquartered in Bremen, with branches in Bremerhaven and Hamburg, we coordinate container shipments daily using our own fleet and subcontractors. Across all locations, we dispatch more than 100 trucks every day.
Our High & Heavy division has been in operation since 2004 and has its roots in Bremerhaven. We transport out-of-gauge containers, oversized loads, and damaged containers; we hold permanent permits for the most common special transport combinations; and we organize escort vehicles ranging from BF2 to police escorts.
We now want to establish this business right here in Hamburg, and we’re looking for someone to help shape it from the very beginning.
Your Responsibilities
You will coordinate heavy and special transports, with a focus on the high & heavy sector, while also supporting container dispatch. You will obtain permits and coordinate with authorities, customers, and escort services. In addition, you will calculate quotes, manage customer relationships, and develop new business opportunities. These processes are carried out in close coordination with the experienced High & Heavy department in Bremerhaven, which will serve as your point of contact from the very beginning.
This isn’t just a coordinator position: You’ll play an active role in shaping Hamburg’s High & Heavy division and take on long-term responsibility for it.
What You Should Bring
Experience in coordinating heavy or special transports, as well as knowledge of the permitting process. Equally important are experience in container coordination and a solid understanding of the operations at the Port of Hamburg.
More important to us than a specific educational background is an independent, entrepreneurial approach to work. If you’re interested in building something rather than just managing it, you’ll be a great fit for us.
