In the immediate vicinity of the container terminals in Bremerhaven, Addicks & Kreye Container Service GmbH & Co. KG offers extensive storage capacities for up to 3,500 TEU on an area of 85,000 m². Over 35,000 containers are handled here annually for various shipping company clients.
All incoming empty containers undergo a structured inspection, maintenance, and repair process to meet the high quality standards for renewed export use.
We offer secure and flexible temporary storage for your full containers. Of course, we also take over the legally required weighing (SOLAS) including official weighing note.
We purchase containers that are no longer used by shipping companies or leasing companies, repair them, and offer them for sale. On request, we also carry out individual modifications according to customer specifications.

Inspection, Maintenance & Repair
All empty containers undergo a structured inspection, maintenance and repair process.
Documentation
All service work, from check-in to completion report, is fully documented. On request, you can access your digital file at any time.
Container cleaning
We thoroughly clean all common container types inside and out on our specially equipped washing areas.
Repair shop
Containers and cooling units are professionally repaired and maintained in our covered work areas. Regardless of the weather and with the utmost care.
Container handling up to 45t
Nine large devices are ready for handling. They enable the safe and efficient handling of full containers up to 45 tons total weight.
Flexitanks
For the transport of liquids, we will gladly equip your containers with a flexitank. Used flexitanks are removed and properly disposed of by us.
Reefer containers
We take over the inspection, repair, execution of PTI (Pre-Trip Inspection) as well as the final inspection of refrigerated containers.
Workshop vehicle
We carry out emergency repairs and inspections directly on the premises of the container terminals.
Container trade
We offer you former shipping company containers, repaired and tested, of course including a valid CSC plate. We keep standard containers in stock for you, and we are happy to deliver special equipment on request.
Container conversion
We realize conversions and special constructions according to your specifications and requirements. On request, including crane delivery directly to the place of use.
