Sinds kort behoort de beproefde Trucker-kaart op alle Hamburgse containerterminals tot het verleden. In plaats daarvan zijn er twee nieuwe apps die de afhandeling moderner, eenvoudiger en veiliger moeten maken. Deze overgang vindt ook plaats tegen de achtergrond van toenemende drugssmokkelgevallen in de haven van Hamburg. Zoals uit de pers blijkt, is het aantal smokkelvondsten aanzienlijk toegenomen en voeren de douane en de federale politie regelmatig grootschalige acties uit. <\/p>\n\n

HHLA heeft voor de ontwikkeling van haar app Passify een eigen dochteronderneming, Passify GmbH, opgericht om de implementatie intern te beheren. Eurogate daarentegen heeft gekozen voor een externe, ervaren dienstverlener en heeft Conroo GmbH uit Neurenberg opdracht gegeven. Conroo heeft al naam gemaakt met de digitale poortafhandeling bij de combiterminals van de Deutsche Bahn. <\/p>\n\n

De overgang verliep grotendeels soepel. Wij hadden de mogelijkheid om deel te nemen aan de pilotfasen van beide systemen en konden zo onze zorgen vroegtijdig inbrengen. Desondanks was de overgang een grote uitdaging voor onze chauffeurs, aangezien de procedures zijn veranderd.
